China never supported QUAD

The informal, anonymous coalition is the major challenge faced by the Quad, that strategic security group formed for the maintenance of peace, stability, and freedom of navigation in the Indo-Pacific region. China has been opposing QUAD.

China is maintaining an aggressive stance on many issues, including the South China Sea dispute with Taiwan. At present, China is leading an unknown group. This group includes China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.

Russia is under all-out isolation by the West, especially the US and most of Europe, with the war on Russia and Ukraine. Thus, it is economically, as well as for the supply of some armaments, extremely dependent on China.

Iran and North Korea too are under crushing US sanctions and are left no choice but to be highly dependent on China.
