BJP got support in cities, while India alliance got support in villages and towns

According to a survey, voters in urban areas are supporting the BJP more than those in towns. 38% of the people in cities voted for the BJP, while 23% voted for Congress. In this year’s Lok Sabha elections, the Congress got 20% of the votes in villages, while the BJP got 36%.

Compared to the last election, this time Congress’s vote in villages increased by one percent while the BJP’s vote decreased by one percent. This is a very minor increase or decrease. Congress got 25% of the votes in towns. There has been an increase of 7% in this compared to the last election. The BJP got 37% of the votes and suffered a loss of 3%. In a survey conducted before the elections, 3 out of 10 people believed that the BJP-led NDA government had worked only for the rich. Whereas 15% believed that no development work had been done in the last 5 years.

According to the survey, those who had a negative attitude towards the government showed interest in voting for Congress and its allies. Its effect was seen in the election results and parties, in which the India Alliance got 233 seats but the BJP alone got more seats than the entire India Alliance. For the third time in a row, Congress could not touch the figure of 100. Despite 10 years, the NDA has successfully formed the government for the third time in a row.

According to the survey, 6 out of 10 voters, i.e., 59 percent, believed that the prime ministerial candidate played an important role in their decision to vote. Three-fourths of the people believed that there was a big impact on the decision to vote on this basis, while 3 out of 10 voters believed that this point played an important role in the decision to vote before the polling. At the same time, there was no special impact on the leadership in the minds of those who voted for Congress and its allies. Half of the voters who voted for Congress believed that the prime ministerial candidate influenced their decision to vote, but it was very little compared to the BJP.

During the elections, there is a debate about the country’s economy. The ruling NDA government claimed to have taken the GDP and economy to new heights, while the entire focus of the opposition parties has been on unemployment and inflation for the last 10 years. Congress tried to woo the weaker sections of the country with the word ‘Nyay’ but failed this time too. In this election, about 78 percent of the voters have voted against the Congress.

Before voting in the Lok Sabha elections, people also gave importance to the economy and their economic condition. According to the survey, the votes of those who did not see any change in their economic condition were also divided between the ruling party and the opposition parties. On the other hand, those who believed that their economic condition had worsened have given their votes to the opposition parties. Half of the people who believed this voted for the Congress and its allies, while 23 percent of the people voted for the BJP and its allies.

After the completion of the election, people were asked if, if Narendra Modi was not the Prime Ministerial candidate from the BJP, they would have reconsidered their decision to vote. In response to this question, 25% of people said that if Narendra Modi were not the prime ministerial candidate, they would have definitely thought about their decision before voting.

In the general elections, the BJP and NDA presented Narendra Modi as their face in their election campaigns. NDA candidates told the public that they do not want their votes, but the vote is to strengthen the country and make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third time. In this election, Narendra Modi campaigned for his alliance, not for his candidates. On the other hand, the opposition played it safe in taking a decision on the issue of the prime ministerial candidate. The survey revealed that people showed more trust in the candidate.

भाजपा को शहरों, तो इंडिया गठबंधन को गावों और कस्बों में मिला जनाधार

एक सर्वेक्षण के अनुसार कसबों की तुलना में शहरी क्षेत्र के मतदाता भाजपा को ज्यादा समर्थन दे रहे हैं| शहरों के 38 फीसदी लोगों ने भाजपा को जबकि 23 फीसदी लोगों ने कांग्रेस को वोट दिया है| इस साल के लोकसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस को गांवों में 20 फीसदी वोट मिले जबकि भाजपा को 36 फीसदी वोट मिले हैं|

पिछले चुनाव की तुलना में इस बार गांवों में कांग्रेस का वोट एक फीसदी बढ़ा जबकि भाजपा का एक फ़ीसदी घटा है| यह काफी मामूली घटोत्तरी और बढ़ोत्तरी है| कसबों में कांग्रेस को 25 फीसदी वोट मिले| पिछले चुनाव की तुलना में इसमें 7 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी हुई है| वहीं भाजपा को को 37 फीसदी वोट मिले और तीन फ़ीसदी का नुकसान उठाना पड़ा है| चुनाव से पहले सर्वेक्षण में 10 में से 3 लोगों का मानना था कि भाजपा नेतृत्व वाली एनडीए सरकार ने सिर्फ अमीरों के लिए काम किया है| वहीं 15 फ़ीसदी का मानना था कि बीते 5 वर्षों में विकास का कोई काम ही नहीं हुआ है|

सर्वेक्षण के अनुसार जो लोग सरकार को लेकर नकारात्मक रूख रखते थे उन्होंने कांग्रेस और उसके सहयोगी दलों को वोट देने में दिलचस्पी दिखाइ| इसका असर चुनाव के नतीजे और पार्टियों पर देखने को मिला जिसमें इंडिया गठबंधन को 233 सीटें तो मिलीं पर वही अकेले बीजेपी पूरे इंडिया गठबंधन से ज्यादा सीटें ले आई| लगातार तीसरी बार कांग्रेस 100 का आंकड़ा फिरसे नहीं छू पाई| 10 सालों के बावजूद एनडीए ने सफलतापूर्वक लगातार तीसरी बार सरकार भी बनाई है|

सर्वेक्षण के अनुसार 10 में से 6 यानि 59 फीसदी मतदाताओं का मानना था कि उनके वोट देने के फैसले में प्रधानमंत्री उम्मीदवार की अहम भूमिका रही है| तीन चौथाई लोगों का मानना था कि इस आधार पर वोट देने के फैसले पर बड़ा प्रभाव दिखा है, वही 10 में से 3 मतदाताओं का मानना था कि मतदान से पहले वोट देने के फैसले में इस बिंदु की अहम भूमिका रही है|

वहीँ कांग्रेस और उसके घटक दलों को वोट देने वालों के मन में नेतृत्व के लिए कोई खास प्रभाव नहीं दिखा| कांग्रेस को वोट देने वाले आधे मतदाताओं का मानना था कि प्रधानमंत्री उम्मीदवार ने उनके वोट देने के फैसले को प्रभावित किया लेकिन भाजपा की तुलना में यह काफी काम रहा है|

चुनाव के दौरान देश की अर्थव्यवस्था को लेकर बहस होती रहती है| सत्तारूढ़ एनडीए सरकार सकल घरेलू उत्पाद और अर्थव्यवस्था को नए मुकाम पर पहुंचाने का दावा किया जबकि विपक्षी दलों का पूरा जोर सिर्फ बेरोजगारी और महंगाई पर ही पिछले 10 सालों से टिका हुआ है| कांग्रेस ने न्याय शब्द से देश के कमजोर वर्ग को साधने की कोशिश की लेकिन इस बार भी वे नाकाम रहे| इस चुनाव में लगभग 78 प्रतिशत मतदाताओं ने कांग्रेस के खिलाफ वोट किया है|

लोकसभा चुनाव में वोट देने से पहले लोगों ने अर्थव्यवस्था और अपनी आर्थिक स्थिति को भी महत्व दिया है| सर्वेक्षण के अनुसार जिन लोगों को आर्थिक स्थिति में कोई बदलाव नहीं हुआ उनका वोट भी सत्तारूढ़ पार्टी और विपक्षी दलों के बीच बट गया|वहीं जिन लोगों का यह मानना था कि उनकी आर्थिक स्थिति खराब हुई है उन्होंने अपना वोट विपक्षी दलों को दे दिया है| ऐसा मानने वाले आधे लोगों ने कांग्रेस और उनके सहयोगी दलों को मत दिया है जबकी 23 फ़ीसदी लोगों ने भाजपा और उसके सहयोगी दलों को अपना मत दिया है|

चुनाव के संपन्न होने के बाद लोगों से पूछा गया कि नरेंद्र मोदी भाजपा की तरफ से प्रधानमंत्री उम्मीदवार नहीं होते तो क्या वह अपने वोट देने के फैसले पर विचार करते? सवाल के जवाब में 25 फ़ीसदी लोगों ने कहा कि नरेंद्र मोदी अगर प्रधानमंत्री उम्मीदवार नहीं होते तो वह वोट देने से पहले अपने फैसले पर विचार जरूर करते| सवाल के जवाब में 25 फ़ीसदी लोगों ने कहा कि नरेंद्र मोदी अगर प्रधानमंत्री उम्मीदवार नहीं होते तो वह वोट देने से पहले अपने फैसले पर विचार जरूर करते|

आम चुनाव में भाजपा और एनडीए ने चुनाव प्रचार में नरेंद्र मोदी के चेहरे के तौर पर पेश किया| एनडीए उम्मीदवारों ने जनता से कहा कि उन्हें उनका वोट नहीं चाहिए, वोट देश को सशक्त बनाने और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को तीसरी बार प्रधानमंत्री बनाने के लिए देना है| इस चुनाव में नरेंद्र मोदी ने अपने उम्मीदवारों के लिए नहीं बल्कि अपने गठबंधन के लिए प्रचार प्रसार किया| वहीं विपक्ष प्रधानमंत्री उम्मीदवार के मसले पर फैसला लेने में सुरक्षित मुद्रा में रहा| सर्वेक्षण से पता चला कि लोगों ने उम्मीदवार के मुद्दे पर ज्यादा भरोसा दिखाया है|
