According to Shiv Kachhi, president of Pakistan Darawar Ittehad—an NGO formed for the rights of minorities—a 50-year-old Muslim man was forcefully married in Sanghar. A 15-year-old Hindu girl has not been recovered yet after the marriage. Shiva said that fake documents are prepared in connivance with some corrupt policemen, and when the victim’s parents/lawyers take the case to court, they are presented in court.

Girl kidnapped from outside home

Darawar Ittehad said that last week a 10-year-old girl was kidnapped from outside her house in Kot Ghulam Muhammad village of Mirpurkhas. She was taken to Sarhandi Air Samaro Madrasa. He said that after converting the girl to Islam, she was married to 50-year-old Shahid Talpur. When the police and organizations intervened in the whole matter, the girl was recovered and sent back home.

The second kidnapped girl is still missing since last Sunday, and the people who kidnapped her have prepared fake marriage and conversion certificates, saying that she is 20 years old and she did everything of her own free will.

Bad condition of minorities in Pakistan

Atrocities against Hindus, Sikhs, and other minorities are going on, increasing continuously in Pakistan. Incidents of forced conversion, kidnapping, and violence prove that minorities are forced to live in helpless conditions there. This incident not only violates the rights of minorities but also puts question marks against humanity. It is estimated that thousands of women from the minority community fall victim to kidnapping, forced conversion, and forced marriage every year. They are being ruthlessly pushed towards conversion.
