How can passengers register themselves on the website?
Passengers have to open the website of IRCTC’s official website, Irctc.co.in. After this, create a new account by filling in the information. For this, one has to click on the signup link. After this, the IRCTC registration form will open directly. You will have to answer security-related questions by filling in the username.
Along with this, you will also have to enter complete information like your name, marital status, occupation, date of birth and gender. Enter your mobile number along with your email ID for the login password.
You will also have to give your residential address. Finally, click on the image given Enter the generated code and submit it. During this, codes will be received on the registered mobile number and email from the IRCTC server. Based on this, the account can be verified. After verifying the account, the ID password will be successfully created.

Open your login by entering the user ID password on the IRCTC website or mobile app. Click on a journey through train ticketing. During this, you will have to proceed by filling in the date of travel and train information. After this, the option of the passenger list will come. In which the number of passengers, their names, etc. are recorded.
This booking being done online has to be confirmed and the ticket amount has to be paid. This payment can be made through platforms like credit card, debit card, UPI and Paytm. When the booking is confirmed, the passenger will get complete information like PNR number, train number, and coach information along with the date of travel through message. A reservation message also has to be shown during the journey.

If you have booked a ticket online, then passengers can cancel it till the chart is prepared. For this, you will have to log in to the IRCTC website. After this, open the booked ticket link and select passenger or ticket cancel. After this, the ticket will be cancelled online. After this, IRCTC deducts the cancellation charge and transfers the remaining amount directly to the account of the concerned passenger.
