Justin Trudeau is going to resign, Is the anti-India Canadian government going to fall?

The problems of anti-India Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are not reducing. He is already facing opposition from the people in his country. Trudeau’s popularity is being shown falling in all the pre-election surveys. Meanwhile, Jagmeet Singh, leader of Canada’s so-called (Khalistan) party NDP, has demanded Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to resign. The NDP was part of the minority government led by Justin Trudeau until a few months ago. However, it withdrew support just before the election because of Trudeau’s falling popularity.

Trudeau’s popularity is continuously declining

According to a news agency report, the Ipsos poll released recently showed that Liberal support has decreased by 5 points since September, falling to 21%, bringing them on par with the New Democratic Party. Speaking to a news agency, IPS Global Public Affairs CEO Darrell Bricker said, “What we’re seeing here is that progressive voters are beginning to decide to reconsider the NDP. We know that one of the largest voter groups in the Canadian population these days are Liberal-NDP switchers.”

Canada’s so-called Khalistan politician Jagmeet Singh has demanded Prime Minister Justin Trudeau resign. He said that the economic crisis of Canadians is increasing continuously. At the same time, the ruling Liberals and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are busy with themselves. Till some months ago, Jagmeet’s NDP was part of Trudeau’s government.

What did Jagmeet say?

According to a report by a Canada-based news agency, when Jagmeet was asked if he would support the no-confidence motion, he said that “all options” were open. He made this comment hours after Chrystia Freeland resigned from the post of Canada’s Finance Minister. Speaking to reporters in Ottawa, Jagmeet said that Canadians are facing an economic crisis in many ways, ranging from expensive groceries to tremendous increases in domestic prices and the threat of increased tariffs in the US after Donald Trump took office.

Charges levelled against Justin Trudeau and the Liberals

So-called Khalistan politician Jagmeet Singh said, “Instead of focusing on these issues, Justin Trudeau and the Liberals are focusing on their political benefit. They are fighting themselves instead of fighting for Canadians. And for that reason, today I am calling on Justin Trudeau to resign.” He said, “He has to go.” The NDP recently supported Trudeau’s ruling Liberal Party to win a confidence vote.

What did the opposition parties demand?

During Question Hour on Monday, leaders of the opposition Conservative Party repeatedly demanded the government to either seek a vote of confidence in the House of Commons or go to Rideau Hall and request the Governor General to call a snap election. In his statement outside the House of Commons just before Question Hour, Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre said, “Justin Trudeau has lost control of the government, and yet he is clinging to power.”

Opposition’s big allegation on Jagmeet Singh

He further said, “We cannot accept this kind of chaos, division, and weakness while we are expecting 25% tariffs from our largest trading partner and closest ally (the US).” He said that America’s newly elected President Donald Trump “can recognize weakness from a mile away.” He stressed that Trudeau has been able to save the chair due to the support of Jagmeet Singh. Meanwhile, government leader in the House of Commons, Karina Gould, said that the government has been able to win the confidence of the House of Commons in several confidence votes held recently.
