अमित शाह ने कहा कि हरदोई अटल जी की कर्मभूमि रही है| सन 1962 में हरदोई ने दीपक जलाकर जनसंघ को आगे बढ़ने का काम किया था| वह निमंत्रण दे रहे हैं कि 6 जून को मिश्रिख वालों 400 लड्डू लेकर दिल्ली जरूर आइएगा| 409 नए सांसदों को लड्डू खिलाना है| उन्होंने वंदे मातरम व भारत माता की जय के उद्घोष के साथ भाषण का समापन किया|

रांची में ईडी का छापा, 35 करोड़ रुपए बरामद

झारखंड के ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री आलमगीर आलम के ओएसडी संजीव कुमार लाल समेत 6 ठिकानों पर सोमवार को छापेमारी कर ईडी करीब 35 करोड रुपए बरामद किए | इस रकम से करीब 30 करोड रुपए ओएसडी के नौकर जहांगीर आलम के यहां से मिले हैं | जहांगीर मूल रूप से चतरा का रहने वाला है |

आलमगीर के करीबी के इंजीनियर वीरेंद्र राम से जुड़े मनी लॉन्डरिंग केस में ईडी ने सोमवार को यह कार्यवाई की है | ईडी को कुछ ठिकानों पर पैसे जमा किए जाने और उसके ट्रांजिट कुछ किए जाने की सूचना मिली थी | टीम ने सुबह 4:00 आलमगीर की ओएसडी, उसके नौकर जहांगीर आलम, ठेकेदार मुन्ना कुमार समेत इंजीनियरों के यहां छापेमारी शुरू की और नोटों का भंडार और जेव्लरी बरामद की |

ईडी की छापेमारी में तीन कमरों में नोटों का भंडार मिला

छापेमारी के दौरान तीन कमरों में नोटों का भंडार मिला | ईडी रांची के गाड़ी खान इलाके में स्थित सर् सैयद रेजिडेंसी पहुंची और फ्लैट नंबर वन ए में जहांगीर की आवाज पर छापा मारा | जहांगीर को मंत्री आलमगीर आलम का करीबी बताया जाता है | छापे के दौरान तीन कमरों में अलमारी बंद मिला | उसने चाबी ना मिलने की बात बताई | ओएसडी संजीव के यहां से चाबियां मांगने के बाद तीन कमरों में ईडी को पांच-पांच 500 नोटों के और लाखों की जेवरात मिले, जिसे कब्जे में कर लिया गया है|

ट्रांसफर-पोस्टिंग में मोटी रकम की वसूली हुई

झारखंड के ग्रामीण मंत्री आलमगीर आलम की ओएसडी संजीव कुमार लाल समेत 6 जगहों पर सोमवारको ईडी ने करीब 35 करोड रुपए बरामद किए | ईडी की जांच में यह बात सामने आई है कि विभाग द्वारा जारी होने वाले ठेको में कट मनी के साथ ट्रांसफर-पोस्टिंग में मोटी रकम की वसूली होती थी | ईडी टीम संजीव लाल, सहायक जहांगीर, मुन्ना समेत अन्य से पूछताछ कर रही है | जहांगीर ने संजीव द्वारा उसके यहां पैसे रखने की बात स्वीकारी है | ईडी के एडिशनल डायरेक्टर कपिल राज भी जहांगीर के आवास पर पहुंचे |

ठेकेदार मुन्ना ने मनी ट्रांजिट की बात स्वीकारी

नोटों की बारामदगी के बाद संजीव लाल, जहांगीर, मुन्ना समेत अन्य से पूछताछ कर रही है| जानकारी के मुताबिक, जहांगीर ने कबूल किया है कि संजीव कुमार लाल ने यहां पैसे रखवाए थे | वहीं मुन्ना के द्वारा बताया गया कि उसके यहां से बरामद पैसे भी सर सैयद रेजिडेंसी स्थित फ्लैट पर पहुंच जाने थे, लेकिन इससे पहले ही ईडी ने छापेमारी कर पैसा बरामद कर लिए |

ठेका पट्टा के आवंटन के लिए जुड़े पैरवी पत्र भी मिले

मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुएईडी के एडिशनल डायरेक्टर कपिल राज स्वयं जहांगीर आलम के फ्लैट पर पहुंचे | जहां उन्होंने अपनी मौजूदगी में ही जांच पड़ताल शुरू की | जांच के दौरान ट्रांसफर-पोस्टिंग में वसूली के भी बड़े साक्ष्य मिले हैं |

निलंबित वीरेंद्र राम की अवैध कमाई का भी खुलासा

झारखंड के ग्रामीण कार्य विकास मंत्री के के निलंबित चीफ इंजीनियर वीरेंद्र राम को अवैध कमाई और करतूत की जाँच ईडी ने शुरू कर दी है तो ग्रामीण विकास विभाग व ग्रामीण कार्य विभाग में पहले भ्रष्टाचार का भी खुलासा हुआ है | वीरेंद्र राम ने एड के समक्ष स्वीकार किया कि हर टेंडर पर 3.2 प्रतिशत कमीशन मिलता था, जिसमें 0.3% ही उसका था ईडी ने जांच में पाया कि कमीशन का पैसा राजनेताओं, अधिकारियों का इंजीनियरों के सिंडिकेट के बीच बटता था |

एक गाड़ी के एवज में दिए गए थे 62 करोड़ के 22 टेंडर

ईडी के समक्ष वीरेंद्र राम ने स्वीकार किया था कि प्रत्येक टेंडर वैल्यू पर ठेकेदार से 3.2 कमीशन प्रतिशत कमीशन लिया जाता था | जिसमें मुख्य अभियंता का शेर 0.3 से 1% होता था | 21 फरवरी 2023 को छापेमारी में अशोक नगर में मिले 7.82 लाख भी कमीशन के ही थे | जांच में जिलस ठेकेदार राजेश की गाड़ी से वीरेंद्र राम चलते थे | उसे 2015 में 62 करोड़ के 22 टेंडर दिए गए थे | जिसकी कमीशन के तौर पर वीरेंद्र राम ने 1.88 करोड़ लिए थे|

ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री के पूर्व चीफ इंजीनियर वीरेंद्र राम के चार राज्यों में 24 ठिकानों पर ईडी ने छापेमारी की थी | इसमें पता चला था कि वीरेंद्र राम ने 125 करोड रुपए की संपत्ति अर्जित की है | ईडी को वीरेंद्र राम के ठिकानों से आठ महंगी गाड़ियों के अलावा छह आलीशान मकान के भी दस्तावेज मिले हैं |

सांसद धीरज साहू से जुड़े तीन राज्यों के आधा दर्जन ठिकानों पर आयकर विभाग का छापा दूसरे दिन उड़ीसा के बलांगीर के ऑफिस से 200 करोड रुपए कैश मिले थे | आईटी ने बलदेव साहू और ग्रुप आफ कंपनी के कई खातों को फ्रीज कर दिया था | तीसरे दिन कैश का आंकड़ा 300 करोड़ पार हुआ मशीन को नोट गिरने के में 4 दिन लगे थे| कुल 10 दिन चली छापेमारी|

PM Modi had darshan of Ram Lala, huge crowd gathered

A huge crowd gathered at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s road show in Ayodhya, the city of Lord Shri Ram, on Sunday evening. In the big road show of 2 kilometers, a group of common people were seen standing on both sides of the road to welcome him. PM Modi, riding on a chariot decorated with flowers, accepted the greetings of the people who came to welcome him. Along with him on the chariot, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Faizabad Parliament, and BJP candidate Lallu Singh appealed for votes by showing a lotus flower with LED.

Before this, he landed at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport at around 6:45 pm. The PM directly went to Shri Ram Temple for the darshan of Ram Lalla. At around 7:30 pm, he entered the temple from gate number 11 of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex located on the Rampath in Ayodhya Dham and worshiped Lord Shri Ram with the aarti of flowers. After this, he posted on social media in which he said that the hearts of the people of Ayodhya are also as big as Lord Shri Ram. Congratulations to Janata Janardan, who came to give blessings at the road show.

After praying in the sanctum sanctorum for about 15 minutes, Prime Minister Modi came out through the new exit next to Shri Ram Hospital. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed PM Modi along with party leaders. Riding on the chariot parked near Sugriva Fort, PM Modi started the road at 8 o’clock, which proceeded through the main gate of Ram Temple.

Sages and saints showered flowers on Prime Minister Modi

Even before the start of the road, thousands of saints and devotees gathered to get a glimpse of PM Modi. Sadhus and saints encouraged PM Modi by showering flowers on him at Rampath. PM Modi, elated with the wonderful welcome, also accepted his greeting warmly. Rampat echoed with slogans of Jai Shri Ram and Modi-Modi.

As the road show progressed, the crowd became so huge that there was no space left to even put one’s feet. From elders to women and youth, everyone was eager to capture the entire scene on their mobiles. At various places, people had made arrangements for drums and playing cards, to the tune of which BJP workers, devotees, and Ayodhya residents kept dancing. A grand scene like a festival of lights was seen on Ram Path.

PM Modi changed his clothes and had darshan of Ramlala

This time Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not enter the sanctum sanctorum of Shri Ram Temple. He first bowed to Lord Shri Ram on the threshold outside the sanctum sanctorum. Assistant priest Santosh Kumar Tiwari placed the Aarti plate decorated with lotus flowers and Tulsi leaves on the door frame, from which the PM performed the Aarti of Ram Lalla. The assistant priest gave Tulsi leaves and lotus flowers as Prasad to the Prime Minister.

Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, said that one of the main reasons for the delay in the Darshan program was his running away. Firstly, due to election busyness, PM Modi arrived half an hour late, then took a bath, changed his clothes, and reached the temple for darshan and worship. Arrangements for the Prime Minister’s bath were made on the premises itself.

The people of India are my family: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the people of Congress and the Indi Alliance want to rob the reservations of SC/ST and OBC. They are preparing to break the country again by giving reservations on the basis of religion. PM Modi said that 75 years ago, the makers of the Constitution, Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Nehru themselves, were against reservation on the basis of religion, but Congress has made a manifesto like the Muslim League for the sake of the vote bank. Prime Minister Modi said that the public is my family.

He addressed an election rally in Sitapur on Sunday. Then he did a road show after taking darshan of Ramlala in Ayodhya. Earlier, he surrounded the SP and Congress from all sides in Etawah. He said that the legacy of family members is cars, bungalows, and political influence. They consider Etawah, Mainpuri, Kannauj, and Amethi-Rae Bareli as their property, but for Modi, permanent houses, toilets, and treatment for the poor are their heritage.

प्रभु श्री राम की नगरी अयोध्या में रविवार की शाम प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के रोड शो में जन सैलाब उमड़ पड़ा| 2 किलोमीटर के बड़े रोड शो में सड़क के दोनों किनारों पर आम लोगों का दल उनके स्वागत में खड़ा नजर आया| फूलों से सजे रथ पर सवार पीएम मोदी ने स्वागत को आए लोगों का अभिवंदन स्वीकार किया| रथ पर उनके साथ उत्तर प्रदेश के सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ, फैजाबाद संसद व भाजपा प्रत्याशी लल्लू सिंह ने कमल का एलईडी युक्त फूल दिखाकर वोट की अपील की|

इसके पहले शाम लगभाग 6:45 बजे महर्षि वाल्मीकि अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर उतरे|पीएम सीधे रामलला के दर्शन के लिए श्री राम मंदिर चले गए| लगभाग 7:30 बजे अयोध्या धाम में रामपथ पर मौजुद श्री राम जन्मभूमि परिसर के गेट नंबर 11 से मंदिर में प्रवेश कर फूलों की आरती के साथ प्रभु श्री राम की विधिवत पूजा की| इसके बाद उन्होंने सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट किया जिसमें उन्होंने बताया कि अयोध्यावासियों का हृदय भी प्रभु श्री राम जैसा विशाल है| रोड शो में आशीर्वाद देने आए जनता जनार्दन का अभिनंदन|

लगभाग 15 मिनट गर्भगृह में प्रार्थना के बाद प्रधानमंत्री मोदी श्री राम अस्पताल के बगल में नए निकास द्वार से बहार आए| मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने पार्टी के नेताओं के साथ पीएम मोदी का स्वागत किया| सुग्रीव किला के पास खड़े रथ पर सवार होकर पीएम मोदी ने 8 बजे रोड शुरू किया, जो राम मंदिर के मुख्य द्वार से होकर आगे बढ़ा|

प्रधानमंत्री मोदी पर साधु-संतों ने की पुष्प वर्षा

रोड से शुरू होने से पहले ही हजारों की संख्या में साधु-संत, श्रद्धालु पीएम मोदी की एक झलक पाने के लिए जमा हो गए| रामपथ पर साधु-संतों ने पीएम मोदी पर पुष्प वर्षा कर उनका हौसला बढ़ाया| शानदार स्वागत से प्रफुल्लित पीएम मोदी ने भी गर्मजोशी से उनका अभिवादन स्वीकार किया| जय श्री राम व मोदी-मोदी के नारों से रामपत गूंज उठा|

रोड शो के बढ़ने के साथ ही भीड़ इतनी जबरदस्त हो गई कि पैर तक रखने की जगह नहीं बची| बुजुर्गों से लेकर महिलाओं और युवाओं तक सब अपने मोबाइल में पूरा नजारा कैद करने को बेताब दिखे| जगह-जगह लोगों ने ढोल-ताश का इंतजाम किया था जिसकी धुन पर भाजपा कार्यकर्ता, श्रद्धालू व अयोध्यावासी झूमते नाचते रहे| राम पथ पर दीपोत्सव जैसा भव्य नजारा दिखा|

पीएम मोदी ने वस्त्र बदलकर किया रामलाला के दर्शन

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने इस बार श्री राम मंदिर के गर्भग्रह में प्रवेश नहीं किया| उन्होंने गर्भग्रह के बाहर चौखट पर सबसे पहले प्रभु श्री राम को नमन किया| सहायक पुजारी संतोष कुमार तिवारी ने कमल के फूल व तुलसी दल के मध्य सजी आरती थाली चौखट पर रख दी जिससे पीएम ने रामलला की आरती उतारी| सहायक पुजारी ने प्रधानमंत्री को प्रसाद में तुलसी दल व कमल का फूल दिया|

श्री राम जन्मभूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र के महामंत्री चंपत राय ने बताया कि दर्शन कार्यक्रम में देरी का एक प्रमुख कारण उनकी सच्ची भागती रही| एक तो चुनावी व्यस्तता के चलते पीएम मोदी आधा घंटा देरी से पहुंचे, फिर स्नान करके वस्त्र बदले और दर्शन-पूजन के लिए मंदिर पहुंचे| प्रधानमंत्री के स्नान की व्यवस्था परिसर में ही की गई थी|

भारत की जनता ही मेरा परिवार है: पीएम मोदी

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस और इंडी गठबंधन के लोग एससी/एसटी और ओबीसी के आरक्षण पर डाका डालना चाहते हैं| धर्म के आधार पर आरक्षण देकर देश को फिर तोड़ने की तैयारी कर रहे हैं| पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि 75 साल पहले संविधान निर्माता बाबा साहेब अंबेडकर और नेहरू खुद धर्म के आधार पर आरक्षण के खिलाफ थे, पर कांग्रेस ने वोट बैंक के चक्कर में मुस्लिम लीग जैसा घोषणा पत्र बना दिया है| प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा कि जनता ही मेरा परिवार है|

उन्होंने रविवार को सीतापुर में चुनावी जनसभा को संबोधित किया| फिर अयोध्या में रामलला के दर्शन कर रोड शो किया| इससे पहले उन्होंने इटावा में सपा और कांग्रेस को चौतरफा घेरा| उन्होंने तंज कसा कि परिवारवादियों की विरासत गाड़ी-बंगले और राजनीतिक रसूख हैं| वे इटावा, मैनपुरी, कन्नौज और अमेठी-रायबरेली को अपनी जागीर मानते हैं, लेकिन मोदी के लिए गरीबों के पक्के मकान, शौचालय और इलाज ही विरासत है|

Rahul Gandhi filed his nomination from Rae Bareli seat on Friday afternoon. At the time of his nomination, Rahul was accompanied by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Robert Vadra, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Congress Rajya Sabha member Pramod Tiwari, and leaders of several allies of the Indi alliance.

Before joining Rahul’s nomination, Priyanka Gandhi came for some time to meet Congress candidate Kishori Lal Sharma, who had filed a nomination from Amethi. Rahul Gandhi reached Fursatganj Airport at around 10:30 in the morning, and from there, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi, and other leaders joined him in the nomination.

According to Congress, the decision is right

The Congress justified Rahul Gandhi’s decision to contest from Rae Bareli’s seat and said that contesting elections from Rae Bareli was an emotional matter for him. Because it was led by his grandfather Firoz Gandhi, his grandmother Indira Gandhi, and later his mother Sonia Gandhi. Due to health reasons, Sonia did not agree to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Rae Bareli this time and was elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan.

Caste equation of Rae Bareli seat

If we talk about the caste equation of the Rae Bareli seat, the largest number of Dalit voters are here. This figure is more than 32 percent. About 11 percent are Brahmins, about 9 percent are Rajputs, and 7 percent are Yadav caste voters. Here, Muslim and Logh voters are around 6 percent, and Kurmi voters are around 4 percent. The number of OBC voters is also around 23 percent.

Congress faces a tough challenge to save its fort

Rae Bareli seat has been the traditional seat of the Gandhi family. Rae Bareli did not leave Congress even during the huge Modi wave of 2014 and 2019. Now the responsibility of handling the family’s legacy rests on the shoulders of Rahul Gandhi. Along with this, Rahul Gandhi also has the challenge of saving this only Congress fort in UP.

Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat was formed in 1952. Feroze Gandhi had won elections here in 1952 and 1957. Congress’s Baijnath Kuril won the 1960 by-election. Then, in 1962, Baijnath Kuril of Congress won. Indira Gandhi became MP from here in 1968, 1971, and 1980. Rajarayan defeated Indira Gandhi in 1977. Arun Nehru won the by-elections in 1980 and 1984. Indira Gandhi’s maternal aunt, Sheela Kaul, became MP in 1989 and 1991. The BJP’s Ashok Singh won the elections in 1996 and 1998. Sonia Gandhi won the by-elections in 2004, 2006, 2009, 2014, and 2019.

रायबरेली और अमेठी सीट को लेकर कायम सस्पेंस बीते शुक्रवार को सुबह खत्म हो चुका है| कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता राहुल गांधी उत्तर प्रदेश के रायबरेली से चुनाव लड़ेंगे| वही अमेठी से कांग्रेस ने राजीव, सोनिया गाँधी और राहुल गांधी के प्रतिनिधि रह चुके किशोरी लाल शर्मा को प्रत्याशी बनाया है|

25 वर्षों में यह पहला मौका है जब गांधी परिवार का कोई भी सदस्य अमेठी से चुनाव नहीं लड़ रहा है| वर्ष 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव में इस सीट पर भाजपा की स्मृति ईरानी ने राहुल गाँधी को करीब 55 हजार वोटो के मार्जिन से पराजित किया था| राहुल गांधी ने शुक्रवार को दोपहर अपना परचा रायबरेली सीट से दाखिल किया| नामांकन के समय राहुल के साथ कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे, सोनिया गांधी, प्रियंका गांधी, रॉबर्ट वाड्रा, तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री रेवंत रेड्डी, कांग्रेस के राज्यसभा सदस्य प्रमोद तिवारी समेत इंडी गठबंधन के कई सहयोगी दलों के नेता भी थे|

राहुल के नामांकन में शामिल होने से पूर्व प्रियंका गांधी कुछ देर के लिए अमेठी से नामांकन दाखिल करने वाले कांग्रेस के प्रत्याशी किशोरी लाल शर्मा से मिलने पहुंची| राहुल गाँधी सुबह करीब 10:30 बजे फुरसतगंज एयरपोर्ट पहुंचे और वहां से उनके साथ कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे, प्रियंका गांधी समेत अन्य नेता नामांकन में शामिल हुए|

कांग्रेस के हिसाब से फैसला सही

कांग्रेस ने राहुल गांधी के रायबरेली सीट से लड़ने के फैसले को सही बताते हुए कहा कि रायबरेली से चुनाव लड़ना उनके लिए भावनात्मक मामला था| क्योंकि इसका नेतृत्व उसके दादा फिरोज गांधी, उसकी दादी इंदिरा गांधी और बाद में उसकी मां सोनिया गांधी ने किया था| सोनिया ने स्वास्थ्य के चलते रायबरेली से इस बार लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ने को राजी नहीं थी और राजस्थान से राज्यसभा के लिए निर्विरोध निर्वाचित हुई थी|

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने रायबरेली सीट से चुनाव लड़ने के फैसले को लेकर राहुल गांधी पर तंज कसा| उन्होंने कहा कि वायनाड से हार सुनिश्चित देख उन्होंने तीसरा ठिकाना ढूंढ लिया है|

बर्धमान और दुर्गापुर में शुक्रवार को विशाल जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा कि डरो मत! भागो मत! प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने राहुल गांधी का नाम लिए बगैर कहा कि उन्होंने पहले ही बता दिया था कि शहजादे वायनाड में हारने वाले है| हार के डर से जैसे ही मतदान समाप्त होगा, वह तीसरी सीट खोजने लग जाएंगे|

अमेठी से भी इतना डर गए हैं की वहां से भागकर रायबरेली में ठिकाना खोज रहे हैं| कांग्रेस के लोग घूम-घूम कर कहते हैं कि डरो मत! डरो मत! मैं भी इन्हें कहता हूं कि अरे डरो मत! भागो मत! प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने सोनिया गांधी पर हमला बोलते हुए कहा कि मैंने संसद भवन में बहुत पहले कांग्रेस की हार की बात कही थी| जब उनके वरिष्ठ नेता सीट छोड़ राज्यसभा जा रहे हैं इससे यह सबूत मिलता है कि उन्होंने अपनी हार भांप ली है|

रायबरेली सीट का जातीय समीकरण

रायबरेली सीट के जातीय समीकरण की बात करें तो यहां सर्वाधिक संख्या दलित मतदाताओं की है| यह आंकड़ा 32 फ़ीसदी से अधिक है| करीब 11 फीसदी ब्राह्मण है, लगभग 9 फीसदी राजपूत है, 7 फ़ीसदी यादव वर्ग के मतदाता है| यहाँ मुसलमान और लोघ मतदाता करीब 6 फ़ीसदी है और कुर्मी 4 फीसदी के करीब है| ओबीसी मतदाताओं की तादाद भी करीब 23 फ़ीसदी है|

कांग्रेस को अपना किला बचाने की कड़ी चुनौती

रायबरेली सीट गांधी परिवार की पारंपरिक सीट रही है| रायबरेली ने 2014 और 2019 की विशाल मोदी लहर में भी कांग्रेस का दामन नहीं छोड़ा| अब राहुल गाँधी के कंधों पर परिवार की विरासत संभाले की जिम्मेदारी है| इसी के साथ राहुल गाँधी को यूपी के इस एकमात्र कांग्रेस के दुर्ग को बचाने की भी चुनौती है|

रायबरेली लोकसभा सीट का गठन वर्ष 1952 में हुआ था| 1952 व 1957 में फिरोज गांधी यहाँ चुनाव जीते थे| 1960 के उपचुनाव में कांग्रेस के बैजनाथ कुरील जीते थे| फिर 1962 में कांग्रेस के बैजनाथ कुरील जीते थे| 1968, 1971 और 1980 में इंदिरा गांधी यहां से सांसद बनी थी| 1977 में राजनारायण ने इंदिरा गांधी को हराया था| 1980 के उपचुनाव व 1984 में अरुण नेहरू चुनाव जीते थे| 1989 व 1991 में इंदिरा गाँधी की मामी शीला कौल सांसद बनी थी| 1996 व 1998 में भाजपा के अशोक सिंह चुनाव जीते थे| वर्ष 2004, 2006 के उपचुनाव और 2009, 2014 और 2019 में सोनिया गाँधी चुनाव जीती थी|

Political discussion of development versus justice

In any democracy, elections are not a means of winning or losing, forming or bringing down a government, they are actually a medium of inspiring political consciousness. Elections are a medium to inspire discussions on dialogue, development, and nation-building in society. During election days, those debates are basically shaped by the speeches and statements given by the leaders in the manifesto and rally issued by the political parties.

Actually, I believe that this election is an election of clashes of images, due to which the images of the political leaders, which have deteriorated over a long period, have more impact than the words said during this election. In this election, people are voting more on the memories and influence of ‘doing’ than on words.

Elections and promises of various political parties

Some election debates are aimed at long-term change, while others are of an immediate popular nature. What are the debates in this election that are inspired by this strategy of gaining popularity for immediate political gains? Consideration of all these issues is necessary not only in the context of this election but also for the development, expansion and deepening of the entire democracy.

There are two types of debates in this election. On one hand, India is making the goal of becoming the country’s third-largest economy a topic of discussion. There, the state is promoting schemes for the distribution of resources in Indian society by keeping the four economic classes—poor, youth, women, and farmers—at the center.

On the other hand, Congress is promoting the social welfare program as populism by combining it with the concept of reservation-based caste-centric social justice along with other promises in its manifestos. For this, she is also using caste census in the entire country as a populist slogan in her election discussions.

If we look at the process of framing the debates of this election, it seems clear that BJP wants to base this election around the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the concept of a developed India focused on all social welfare programmes.

Election manifestos of political parties

In this election, leaving aside the indirect caste additions and subtractions in the ticket distribution, it has tried to distance itself from the politics of caste identity in the speeches of its manifesto leaders. At the same time, Congress has tried to make the issue of caste-based social injustice in Indian society a popular debate on the issue of reservation-based social justice from the very beginning of its election discourse.

This time, religious identity in the context of minorities and caste identity in the context of social justice remain the central elements of the Congress manifesto. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly raised this issue of caste and religious identity with terms like justice and injustice.

Congress has raised many fear- and anxiety inducing discussions, like the Constitution will be changed under BJP rule, whether elections will not be held, etc. This strategy of Congress’ election discussion has hindered BJP from changing its election discussion strategy.

To respond to these conventional political weapons of Congress, BJP has fired its conventional weapon of doing politics of demonization on Congress along with its discussion of development, pride of India and developed India.

In this discussion of appeasement, along with castes, the discussion of religious identity has also started coming to the fore. BJP has intelligently linked this discourse of appeasement with the discourse of social justice. Started this propaganda that, in order to satisfy the people of one religion, Congress wants to snatch the rights of the backward, scheduled caste, and tribal poor and distribute them among a particular religious community.

At the same time, he has woven the intention of Congress to conduct a survey of gold and property in the narrative of a threat to the privileges of Indian women and the “mangalsutra” of middle-class women.

Political parties’ own caste promises

This should be considered a master stroke of Prime Minister Modi in the politics of narratives in the Indian elections, in which he not only shook the mind of the middle class but also took the identity of the poor, backward and Dalits out of the framework of traditional caste-based social justice politics, Hindutva, A balanced mix of social justice and development aspirations has been prepared. There is such a deadly attack in politics, it remains to be seen how Congress’s discourse will be able to face it.

It is seen again and again that caste is sometimes helpful as a unit of distribution of social justice, but later on it gives rise to many types of social injustice. The Congress will have to understand that it is extremely difficult to separate caste from caste in Indian society.

We have seen that many such experiments have failed so far. After independence, the politics of social justice have seen Kashiram, a unique experimenter, eventually weaken after initial successes. It has to be understood that the edge of caste in Indian society can be blunted only through the process of economic development.
