UPI Transaction: How to complain in case of money transaction error through UPI?

Transacting money through the Unified Payment Interface is a popular method. But many times users complain about money getting stuck during financial transactions.
How To Complain About UPI Transaction: If money gets deducted from your bank account while making a payment through UPI and does not reach the other party’s account, then it is natural to get upset in such a situation. To complain and resolve the problem of money getting stuck or any fraud or problem in UPI transactions, the government has arranged for a special feature and toll-free number in the app.
How to complain?
Toll-free number: To complain about any kind of UPI-related complaint, you can register a complaint on the toll-free number 1800-120-1740 or helpline number 022- 45414740.

App: Click on the “Raise a complaint” option on the BHIM UPI App. After this, click on the transaction in the list of your old transaction details regarding which you want to complain. You will see two options on the screen “raise concern” and “call bank”. You can either call the bank as per your wish or click on Raise Concern to lodge a complaint directly on the app and write the complaint.
Get In Touch Service: If you want, you can also register your complaint through the Get In Touch Service feature available on the BHIM app.
If the transaction related to financial transactions and bill payments through UPI fails, the money will be refunded to your account. If the money is not returned to your account within 1 hour, then you can get complaint redressal through a toll-free number, apps or bank customer support.
