The situation on the Durand Line between Pakistan and Afghanistan has worsened. Recently, after killing 16 Pakistani soldiers, the Pakistan Air Force bombed Paktika and 4 places in Afghanistan. In those attacks, 50 people lost their lives. Pakistan declared these people to be terrorists of TTP, which means Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. After that, the Taliban attacked Pakistan’s border and claimed that 19 soldiers had been killed in Pakistan. The Taliban also claimed that it took two Pakistani posts. Besides this, the Taliban refused to accept the Durand Line. Pakistan retaliated and claimed that 8 people from Afghanistan were killed in their attack.

Taliban

What is the Durand Line?

This development has once again fired up the issue of Durand Line, which has existed since the British era. The Durand Line is a border line drawn between British India and Afghanistan in 1893. It was named after Sir Henry Morris Durand. He served as the Foreign Secretary of British India. Pakistan and Afghanistan have been in dispute over this border for several decades. The Afghan government has never accepted that borderline. Neither did the Taliban. The Pashto claim that the Durand Line is just a line drawn by the British Empire, and they do not accept it as the border of Pakistan.

Taliban

Conflict over the line between the two countries

After the establishment of Pakistan in 1947, Afghanistan never accepted the Durand Line. Be it the government of Hamid Karzai or the present Taliban government, no one agrees with this line. The Taliban also claims the Pakistani city of Peshawar as its territory. Pakistan had expected that after the Taliban took control in 2021, it would be able to reach an agreement with the Pashto on the Durand Line, but this could not happen. Despite this, Pakistan and the Pashto have fought over the Durand Line many times, especially regarding fencing

Taliban attacks on Pakistan

The Defense Ministry of Afghanistan also regards the Durand Line as an imaginary border. Speaking on the statement regarding the attack by Pakistan on December 28, he said that this attack was conducted in those areas that were used to attack Pakistan from Afghanistan.

The Afghan army also destroyed Pakistani posts. Pakistan admitted that there was fighting in many places, but it confirmed the death of only one soldier. This dispute and conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan is still going on, and tension is increasing on the Durand Line. The Taliban also says that Pakistan is harbouring terrorists of the Islamic State Khorasan Province in its territory, who are staunch enemies of the Pashto. This has made the relations between Pakistan and the Taliban more tense.

How many people lost their lives due to them?

The devastation of the Covid-19 virus that had spread across the world from Wuhan, China five years ago has yet not been forgotten. Not Corona; plague is the biggest epidemic given by China

There is nothing new about the spread of an infectious virus from China. Many dangerous viruses have spread all over the world from China itself. It is generally believed that China gave the world the most dangerous epidemic, but this is not the reality. Media reports said that it was China that thrust the world into a devastating epidemic like the plague or Black Death.

This epidemic had pushed Asia, Africa, and Europe to the brink of destruction between the years 1346 and 1353. The death toll of this is estimated to be around 75 to 200 million. Not only this, in the sixth, 14th, and 19th centuries, the big waves of plague, the epidemic that destroyed the masses all over the world, started from China itself.

Spanish Flu, the deadliest pandemic of the century

If we talk about the last hundred years only, then due to China, pandemics have spread all over the world in the years 1918, 1957, 2002, and 2019. The Spanish flu, which spread from China to the whole world in the year 1918, caused great devastation. By the way, this pandemic spread when the world was busy discussing the First World War.

Then, due to all the censorship, it was not officially revealed how this pandemic spread. However, many reports and experts have been claiming that the Spanish flu also started in China.

It is claimed to be the deadliest pandemic of the entire century. For this reason, 20 million to 50 million people died worldwide. However, some reports suggest that the death toll is nearly 100 million. Data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) relates that around 500 million people in the whole world, or nearly 30% of the global population at that time, were affected by this pandemic.

Asian Flu killed 20 lakh people

The world also met a horrible tragedy between 1957 and 1959. This epidemic named Asian Flu was titled as such as it originated in China, the country located in Asia, and traveled to the rest of the globe. Its rise can be compared to the loss of 20 lakh people’s lives worldwide within merely two years. Also, in the year 2002, another epidemic, SARS, wreaked havoc on an extreme scale. Similarly, this one also began its journey from China.

Corona began in Wuhan and disturbed the entire world

Then, in the last months of the year 2019, news started coming from China that a disease was spreading in the city of Wuhan, which caused chaos. In mid-December 2019, such pictures started coming, which showed that China had put the entire city of Wuhan under lockdown. There is a ban on anyone coming to or going from Wuhan. Still, China did not bother to inform the world about it.

This disease spread all over China and worldwide, which we know as Corona or Covid-19. It was considered so dangerous that to avoid it, countries around the world had stopped life in their respective places. According to the WHO in the year 2022, an estimated figure was published that stated that during the last two years, that is, 2020 and 2021, approximately 1.5 crore people had died because of the Corona virus or due to health effects caused by it.

Sukhwant said that he had known Birendra for a long time. Both of them practised tantra puja. Birendra knew that Sukhwant had taken money from two people of Raipur and killed them. He was demanding money from Sukhwant in exchange for not revealing the secret.

This led to a dispute, and Sukhwant killed Birendra as well. Sukhwant said that he got the information about killing using cyanide from a serial called Savdhaan India. He had arranged for cyanide online. He bought cyanide for 10 thousand rupees. First, he made an animal drink cyanide. When it died, he started using it on his victims.
